Miroir is not just a website. It is a truth hub, a living, breathing mirror held up to society's lies, expectations, and hypocrisies. It was created by Fils Jean Pierre Mutsinzi, not to showcase himself, but to challenge the system that tries to erase people like him.

Miroir was born the day I realized that the mirror society gave me was fake. A piece of glass cannot show me who I am, not my pain, my gender, my voice, or my rebellion. I was expected to fit into frames I never chose. So I broke that mirror and made my own.

This mirror is symbolic; it is a space to reflect, yes, but also to confront. To see how the world sees you, and how you see it. This is not a project of vanity. It is a political act. A philosophical rupture. A spiritual rebellion.

Through Miroir, I use truth-telling, Butoh performance, writing, and defiant presence to shake gender norms and awaken memory. What society fears to name, I reflect. What it tries to erase, I archive. And I invite others to do the same.

Miroir is Fils' creation, but it is not only about Fils. It is for anyone brave enough to face themselves and reflect the truth back to the world.
